Guys do you have any idea what it costs to produce a mold to make something like this? I have had my own manufacturing business and you get what you pay for. A good quality product like this one is certainly worth $42 in a $50K car.

It's just because I've seen similar cup holders like this (similar) for other vehicles (non-Corvette) for anywhere from $8.00 to $20.00. I know this is customized for a Corvette to fit snug and look as factory as possible, but....

Maybe with volume, the price will go down and I'll catch it then.

You want to see something that is way way over the top, check out item # X-2289 in the ZIP Catalog. It's a chrome cover for a C6 starter button that goes for 129.95!!!!! GIVE ME A BREAK! Installtion instructions are probablty two way tape.
