I will be traveling to Phoenix next week and was wondering are there any sights or vendors worth visiting that are corvette related. Always looking for parts for my 66 L79 convert.

Thanks,

Nick

You may want to PM and/or email ChevyAddict. Dawn lives in Tuscon but may have ideas about Phoenix. If anyone would know I would be it would be her.

I like to stop by Barrett-Jackson when I'm in town . There are always lots of cool cars in the showroom and in the back.

Also go to the Penske Racing Museum.

If you like to check out how the other half lives stroll through Penske's new car showrooms. The sales people don't bug you and most I've talked to really like to talk cars. That's United Auto Group West.

Cn'v Corvette has a large inventory whenever I'm out there. Could be fun to stroll the lot.

I can steer you towards some really good old car salvage yards if you're looking for rust free parts for a non-Corvette. There are also a lot of hot rod related businesses that apply to Corvettes there like Arizona Speed and Marine.

This should keep you busy for awhile.

Nick- I go out there a lot too for work. If you are there over a saturday, go down to the "Pavillion" which is a strip mall in downtown Scottsdale. There is a huge cruise night that happens every saturday evening (like 5-9pm) with hundreds of cars. Take north 101 and get off at Indian Bend rd (NOT Indian School rd which is a few miles south).... go west on Indian Bend and it is right there off the exit- can't miss it! There is always a small group of vettes there.

I was in Scottsdale last year for a good chunk of time. I did make it out to Bondurant Raceway..They have much to do from carting to the Z06 experience. Here is their website.
