Does anyone know what the "900" before the paint color code stands for? My color was originally Glen Green but I have a paint code on my trim tag like this "900GG" (see photo). Also, what does the "BA" stand for after the Trim 431 (Glen Green) on the same tag? Thanks for any info on these two codes.

St. Louis produced bodies have a 900 prefixed to each exterior body color paint code. A. O. Smith produced bodies have no prefix. Trim code numbers have a 2-digit suffix, either AA or BA. A indicates coupe and B indicates convertible.

Thanks, Tom... I learn something new everyday and I'm 84...! Appreciate the quick response, too.

Al, I'm only 6 years behind you. Mostly what I learn every day is that I don't know everything.

For sure, I learned that a long time ago that I don't know everything or even a good portion of everything...!
Just finished rebuilding my dash instrument cluster on the '65 and it's so nice to have everything not only working but looking good doing so...

I did the cluster on my 69 C10 awhile back. It's a very satisfying project and something you will appreciate every time you get in the car.
