trouble shoot OEM alarm 74 4 speed

Howdy
I have been reading through the alarm stuff...Can any one tell me where to get info to trouble shoot my alarm? 74 4 speed. I know it has juice it went off once when the wife opened the door.

I was flipping thru my shop manual and noticed a wiring diagram of it last night. I can give you some insight once I get back home tonight.
