For the convertible, how big is 10.4 cubic feet. I travel a lot and take my golf clubs with me. Can it fit 2 sets of clubs and a couple of overnight soft luggage pieces. I know the coupe can, but I'm looking at the convertible. Also, does the capacity get smaller with the top down.

Sorry to ask a silly question but I live in Germany so there is no dealer to go and see. Don't want a car that I can't drive daily. :D

Hi Chief,
Nice to meet you. I have a convertible and you can carry two setts golf clubs, depending on how packed they are. (They advertise this is the capacity) If you use the hanging luggage for suits etc, ummm possibly. It will be a tight fit, lets put it that way. Alot of smashing it into the limited available spots. The trunk doesnt get smaller when the tops down. I drive myn daily. I have enough room for two fold out chairs, (vinyl, which are smaller than golf bags), my smaller sized bucket with my car cleaning supplys and one bag when shopping, and a pair of high heels shoved in the available left over holes. Thats about it. In the front, I cannot fit my purse anywhere when someone is in the passenger seat. I have to put it under my legs. Literally no room for it. Hey thats the price we pay to own a vette though, right. Practical vehicle, noooo. LOL. Fun, Yes! Ahhh, throw the passenger out and put your bags in the seat next to ya! Go for the convertible!!!

Chief,

I've carried one set of clubs and some small luggage to the beach before with no problems. Hot is right, with the top down you lose a little space in the trunk. Depending on how big your luggage is you still might manage.

Chief, And let me just add. There is more storage behind the flap that protects the top where it folds down. I suspect a couple of overnight bags will fit in there but you will not be able to put the top down as a switch disconnects use of the top if the flap is not in the up position. So to answer your original question, if you leave the top up there should be plenty of room. :)

Billy,
You taught me something new about my car. I didnt know that a switch disconnects use of top if flap isnt in up position. Or that the space was usable. I need to take more time to read the manual, or spend time messing with the inside of my trunk, which I havent done. I just never used that space in the back behind the flap. It didnt seem, just by looking, that the flat could be moved. Thanks for the info Billy! Im sure Chief appreciated it also. Also, your right Chief, you have to have a caddie.:D Let us know when ya buy your new baby!
