I would like to bump my C5 up to about 400 hp without doing a lot of altering that will require constant adjusting or tuning. I love to drive it more that I like tearing into it all the time. I show it a lot up and down the East Coast.

Can anyone offer any easy suggestions?

if you've got the money, slap a supercharger on it.:cool

otherwise, headers, hi-flow cats, a good set of mufflers, new air filter/air box system and an intake manifold will get you on your way. although, you probably won't get to 400hp until you get inside the engine (heads, cam etc) the list goes on and on.

there's a lot of people on cac that are far more knowledgeable then me, so hopefully they'll chime in.

Thanks for the help sigshooter.

This is my first vette and I really love it. I had been driving Z28's for years and finally decided when I saw the dearler off load this one that I had to have it, I traded in my 98 Z. Owner/Salesman (sold me my 98 Z) and I haggled for two weeks on the price before we were both happy.

I like the look as it is. The guys at some of the shows ask me if I've got any dirt on it yet...but then most in our club are the same, keeping the cars spotless. Vetters are all the same in that regard I guess.

I appreciate your comments and will start on some of them...one at a time.
