you guys will know this...

What sizes are the intake/exhaust valves on a B2K vette (mine's a 90)? I presume they are just stock heads? What did Callaway do to them?

Just a general question - the history of the Chevy small block is real long and sometimes it's ahard to find something as basic as this out.

Cheers :beer

installed better valve springs

Yes, Stock Heads...

Valve sizes are 1.94" Intake / 1.5" Exhaust. That's inches... sorry don't know MM if that's how you size valves over there. They are aluminum castings but I'm unsure of the casting number. Callaway did basically nothing to them. Maybe they changed the valve springs but I'm not sure about that. Some AFR 195's would be a nice replacement. You can also port the stock heads and install bigger valves.

The UK also has the "non metrica" system, they even drive on the wrong site of the road ;) :D

Don't worry about that Peter, we'll be OK when we come to Germany in July (looking forward to the smooth roads and cheaper gas too)

Some of the cars going :

Corvette ZR1 stroked to 368 Cubic inches (500-550 BHP, going on dyno this week)
Corvette ZR1 bored and stroked to 427 (only one in the world) not finished yet but estimated 650 BHP
New Corvette Z06
My Callaway
Full race ZR1 (flat plane crank) with carbon fibre body (weighs 1200 Kg, stock ZR1 is about 1600 Kg!)
At least one more stock ZR1
ASC Viper 450 BHP
Other Vipers

For cheap gas go to Luxemburg! or Belgium.
In Belgium the roads aren't that nice either (compared to Holland) and look out for debry (pieces of tire's etc) on the road could be tricky! Also serieusly try to exclude using the 'escape or sos' drive lane's, in Belgium there very messy (don't clean them or so) So messup the nose paintwork on the car behind you is not difficult.
It's still a long way, but hope to see you guy's over at Hockenheim!

Groeten Peter.
