Hi there guys, i am gonna be purchasing a C5 corvette soon. I really like the white/tan or white/black convertibles. I will be buying the twin turbo kit at the same time of buying the car. Any of you put a twin turbo on a C5 if u have how hard is it to install//what did you pay//how do u like it// also i lot of people say not to get the convertible cause of safety inc case u rollover.. have any of you heard of or seen a Twin turbo'd C5 Convertible.

Any help or advice or feedback iswelcome and appreciated thanks guys..

The C-5 was designed from the start as an convertible, I don't know of any added safety risk when compared to a coupe. As for the twin turbo all I can say is that you are a lucky man. Which system were you considering.

well if i go TT i will be going with APS. But i might go supercharger instead we will see what i wanna do, if i go supercharger it will probably be a Maggie.

I've been bouncing the idea of building up the HP on mine also. From what I read the turbo setup will allow for more HP gains but the new Magge seams to be much more reliable and easer on the motor. Plus there is no extra pluming associated with inter-coolers and etc.. With Magge you will have to change the hood. I kind of like that, it gives the car the look of "don't mess with me".

haha yea i like that "dont mess with me look" yea the maggie looks more driver freindly, cheaper, and i can put it in myself vs the TT setup which will be harder to set up and also very hard to put in and u have to cut parts of the car to fit it also. the TT doesnt make that much more HP then the maggie does, and you run meth injection to keep car runnin cooler with the supercharger too.. ive seen peoplewith stock 1998-2000 C5's running anywhere from 485-585 RWH and 485-555 RWT with the maggie setup., which is perfectly fine for HP for me stock is fast enough let alone another 100-200 horsepower to the wheels...
