1) Assuming I am going to put tube headers on my 65 small block, I have seen ads for JET HOT HEADER COATING, "Guarenteed for life of your car". Is anyone familiar with this stuff? Any comments?

2) Ads for exhaust jackets claim under hood temperature reduction up to 70%. Do they do any good? Do they cause rust? Do they look terrible after a short time? Are they worth the bother?

While I'm here, and I recently read a thread regarding Hedman and Stahl headers that turn out to side pipes; I will be investing in a tube header system for my '65 300/327 to go under the car like stock pipes. Any advice on a vendor who makes a system to fit in a realtively stock '65 with a minimum of hassle?

I removed headers from my car

I had lower engine temp but higher caben temp with the headers
