Two Unrelated Questions (wipers and HVAC)

First, I got caught in a rainstorm for the first time with my Vette. It was dark and although I knew where the wiper switch was on the door, is it suppose to be lighted? Mine was not illuminated.

Second, anyone know a good place to get a new or reconditioned electronic HVAC unit (C68 option) for an 88? Looked around a some of the Vette parts websites I know of and also MAD and Corvette Central with no luck. It's flickered for some time and now the cold button doesn't work. I've taken it apart several time and cleaned the contacts based on some articles I've read and I've given up on it. I'd rather replace it than continue fighting it.

There is a single bulb in the wiper/washer control, it is a 194 bulb. It gets it's power through the main wiper control harness (green wire), but also has a separate single black wire for the ground. Check all three, and you should be good to go.

Not sure about new, you may be able to find one at www.justcorvettes.com.
