okay,so I'm just about done changing the tranny fluid, and I'm under the front of the vette, installing new tranny hoses as the old ones are hard and are seeping.
When I notice a wet spot on the left side of the bottom of the radiator.:ugh:ugh
I get my lite and shine it up to the top radiator hose and the darn thing is wet!!!!:mad:mad:mad:mad
as this made my morning!!!!;squint:;squint:
I proceeded to remove the radiator so I can get it repaired!!!!
I'm just glad I found it now instead of out on the road some where, and it would have been the hard way as well!!!!

okay Rant over!!!!:D:D

So there is a crack in the radiator? Or just a bad hose? Wonder if you can upgrade an existing radiator (extra core) or if that requires a new one..

Don't know if they ever added an upper hose support brace but I've had to have the upper neck resoldered several times due to it cracking from the weight of the hose hanging on it.

It looked like the neck had cracked at the joint. anyway it is out and I'm going to have it tested and either repaired or replaced with the same size rad and reinstall it..I'm starting to get itchy to drive it!!!!
