Hi All,
I am trying to figure out what happened to the original grounds for my Wiper motor and Blower. They have non-original jumpers to the block hooked up to them.

I looked in the AIM and could not really see anything. I would expect that these would break out of the harness along with the other connectors for the parts, but I do not see them.

Any help would be appreciated.

thanks,
John Myers

Hello John,

If you want to come over and take as look at my 63 send me a e-mail.

Those two ground leads are part of the engine/starter harness - the wire with the big ring terminal on it that goes under the outboard starter bolt is a 14-ga. black wire to the heater blower ground spade, and there's an 18-ga. black wire that pigtails from that connector over to the wiper motor with a female connector on the end that goes on the ground spade on the wiper motor.
