unique part wanted

i need GM part number 473296 official listed as "u/b tun tr plt emblem". it is the 25th silver anniversary emblem that was used exclusively on the 78 pace car center console. it is located between the shifter and the coin tray. it is almost as wide as the console and approximately 3/4" in height. it has "25th silver anniversary" in script with a checkerboard motif along the bottom edge. i have tried the usual corvette salvage facilities with no success. to the best of my knowledge due to it's limited application, it is not being reproduced by anyone. if you can help, or have some suggestions as to who and where to try, i'm open to all suggestions.

Last spring, Norm bought a silver anniversary car to part out. It was in very good shape except for where it had been hit. thanks for the lead. unfortunately, norm said he hasn't had one for well over a year, but he did give me another fellow named william phillips to give a call to down in sumpter. i'll let you know how i make out once i get through to him.
