Check out this site and tell me what you think about converting a C4 into a C5......it looks like a C6 if you change out the head lights. I have to change out the rear bumper anyway...so tell me what ya think

I think that after reading some horrible things here about C5West that I will never attempt to buy anything from them. One example is the hood scoop that does not fit.

Save your Advil, don't venture there.

Shane, I was not impressed with the web site - too much going on to really take a good look at the product. This might be a worthwhile venture for rehabbing a wrecked car, but I would not waste a classic C4 with this conversion.

Hi SoLow ... First off yes there has been a lot of reports of problems with C5West.
And second ... just my opinion but ... I have seen a lot of pictures of C4 to C5 Vettes and personally something just doesn't look right. Kind of makes the Vette look short and stubby. Now the early C4 to late C4 conversion??? Looks fine to me ... but personally ... I like my '85 look and those round tail lights.

I do like the ZR1 rear conversion, and the coupe to vert option. Have the problems been with the product quality or the vender?

I say dont do it.Its hard enough to get aftermarket fiberglass to line up let alone a aftermarket conversoin kit.:(

I agree, I realy dont have the desire to go to that extent. I just get an over whelming urge to do SOMETHING. :eyerole

Unfortunately I have read the same at alot of forums, they do have some feedback on Ebay if you want to check that out. It would seem that if your not an experienced body man, your going to run into problems with final fit and finish.
