Up/Down top lid flush to vehicle

You say that the up and down adjustment of the headlight housing within the opening is adjusted at each headlight door pivot. And that you can see these screws with the bezel off. I did that on my 74 and I can not see how to get to these 3 screws on each side. I can only see them from underneath. The screws and the pivots are located under the body just outboard of the rear corners of the door opening. How to you get to them? I didn't try opening the hood to see about access at the front going forward. There is no way through the bezel opening. Please help.

You might be able to hit them from the hood side, but I go from underneath. You don't have to remove the bolts, just loosen then enough to allow you to reset the headlight doors.

Wouldn't hurt to try to get a little light oil on the nylon bushings while you're under there.
