Does anybody have a diagram or pic's of the vacuum hoses for our cars. My battery acid has done a good job of making my A/C not work properly. Again any help would be great, I don't want to take her to a Mech and get charge my hard earned beer money for something I can do myself.

Vacuum hoses would be the least of my worries with battery acid spilling out over the computer system below battery tray, not to mention the frame of the car being eaten away. Battery acid can also follow the wiring leading into and out of compuer system, this could be major surgery. If it were mine I would remove battery and tray and completly flush with baking soda and a lot of water
also check frame for rust. Replace battery with Optima red or yellow top depending on use. Hope you are not to late.

Yeah I know that also I ahve already replaced the battery as soons as I discovered it but I still need a diagram or something. Maybe I can trace my wires and verify that they are good at the same time.

One of the Corvette magazines ran an article about that a while back. I will see if I can find it for you. It showed how to repair the vacuum line that ran through the wiring harness under the battery. Apparently, it controls some HVAC functions.

I found the magazine that I was looking for. Corvette Fever, July 2003, page 54 has an article "Corrosive Correction". In that article, they repair the vacuum line that runs through the wiring harness under the battery. If you want me to photo this for you, e-mail me with your address and I will get it off to you.

Sorry For The Late Reply But Yes Please Send That To Me At Your Soonest.

I re-read that article last night, and it is not very specific. I will look to see if I have a diagram in my '97 service manual. It should be very similar to your car.

I will also need a street address. Send your address to riverpark at cableone.net (spelled out to avoid the crawlers out there looking for e-mail addresses. Or send me a personal message with your address.
