Im in the midst of diagnosing a vacuum leak and was wondering what sealant to use? I have seen posts of people using epoxy..ect...ect...However I didnt think that permanently bonding vacuum line parts together was such a great idea...Is there some kind of liquid sealant that wouldnt damage the plastic and rubber..?? Heck...Im not even thrilled about using plastic wire ties because they compress the rubber boots....

Thank You in advance...!!!!

I'm not sure it's a good idea to use anything to seal vacuum lines to anything. They get hard enough to remove over time without any sealant in the first place. I have never heard of using anything to seal vacuum lines.

Maybe this is something specific to the LT-5? :confused

When I pulled the plenum I ended up putting little zip ties on all the vacuum hoses
