vacuum probs (doesnt everyone?)

hey everyone, i need some help....... i took my dash apart and i royally screwed up my vacuum system for my heater/ac..... anyone have a diagram on the lines to the engine bay and through the dash? my shop manual has made me more confused than before...... please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i have an 82 which i am going to ditch the ac......... which also has me ask, can i just plug off the vac line to the ac? and do i need to to anythign electrical wise to get rid of the ac? (new engine so there is no stock computer)
