Need some help in estimating the value of a 1978 Silver Edition Corvette. My son was doing landscaping work for an older lady and she asked him if he would be interested in purchasing a 1978 Silver An. Ed. I have not seen the car, but he tells me it is in showroom condition. Her husband died almost 3 years ago and the car has not been driven. The interesting thing is it has 108 miles on it. Any thoughts ?? Thank you!!

Without further details and pictures the error factor in guessing might be +/- $10K.

Sounds like Granny is no fool. That might be the right ball park price for a virtually zero mileage '78 in perfect showroom condition. The problem then arises for a buyer as to the intended purpose of the car. If it's put into service as a 'driver' the premium paid for a low mile car goes out the window instantly. Otherwise, it's good as a 'display only' trailer queen.
Not too many people want to put 20Gs into a '78 SA just to let it sit.

IF it has only 108 miles and not 100108 miles,you will probably need to change most of the seals
as they will have probably dried up from not being used.
if you do a search you can find what to look for when buying a C-3 vette!
