After losing two vetts in the past week to bad frames Iam not giving up hope. My question has been converting a four speed to powerglide since most I find are four speeds. But now Ive run into a car that I feel would meet my needs but Iam worried about its future value. Its a 1965 with factory air, powerglide, power windows and steering. It has the 327/250hp. Hes asking $34,500 and Iam hoping to get a little off that.Am I looking at a car that few would want with all the creature comforts or is it worth what the guides and price calculators say which is around $34000. Thanks for any feedback its alot of money any way you cut it. By the way Ive only seen picks so far but looks like a clean car in nassau blue with white int. Of course it will go on a lift before I do anything . Its a 3 hour drive in both directions so help me save a trip if Iam looking at the wrong car.

p.s. I forgot to mention its suposed to have matching numbers but since Iam no expert Ive been looking at each car as if it didnt.

Soory but to me it sounds like you found a great car, terrific colors and options. Not every one want a vette to speed around in.(MOST DONT ANYWAYS)

exsplain what the problem is.

If the car checkes out as nice as described it sounds like a keeper. Had a friend that bought a '65 new in Nassau Blue with white leather. Beautiful.

Few would want with all the creature comforts? :) Why would you think that? Wow, that's a very desirable car. Also a very valuable car. Any midyear air conditioned car, especially a roadster is a rare beast. Chuck

GO LOOK AT IT, take your money though b/c if it's as described it may not be there if you have to make another trip... Good midyears go quick.. Dave..

Can you have too many options
I don't think so.......

Sounds like a keeper...

Take a good look though, you don't want to be caught off guard by the options....

I was almost caught off guard with the very first Vette I looked at.....

It was a 67 Big Block...
All he did was start it... :Twist :J

My wife brought me back down to earth...:bash

Just in time

Thanks for the feed back everybody. I guess Iam getting a little gun shy after some of my experiances I have had so far looking for a car. Iam going over and taking a look ,and if it checks out when we get it up on a lift Iam sure Ill be bringing it home. And by the way I love the options this car has I just wanted to be sure that others felt the same way since most of the time you usually hear about the higher h.p. 4 speed cars. I love to curise and I guess theres others out there that feel the same way.
