Vette magazine just featured Vararam on C5 Coupe I am interested in doing on an 01 Z06 (upgrade that is reversible no cutting) does anyone have experience? Verifiable results? How hard? competitively priced alternatives? My car is unmolested 4000 miles.

First, welcome to the CAC!
Second- I don't know about the Vararam... I have heard it mentioned a lot, especially on the z06 forum. You might check there (z06vette.com)

Thanks for the info. I went to the sight much info on this and
other intakes. Now I am really confused. Appears change in intake can result in overly rick mixture needing custom tuning.
some sysems seem to have actually decreased performance. Would still like to hear specific results from anyone with an 01 Z06 that is otherwise stock.

Allequipment...there is probably too much info out there. However, when I had my 01 with a Halltech T-1c sidewinder and hurst shifter, I turned a 12.34@115 with a 1.83 60'. Stock supercar tires and exhaust. I transferred it over to my 02 and have done a 12.21@117 with a 1.92 60'. I went with the vararam cause the T-1c kept falling apart at the elbow-MAF coupler. I just have had it installed and have to wait until March when the tracks open back up. :cry
