If I have my facts right GM built 16 Aztec Gold Convertibles for the 98 model year and only one with a six speed tranny, this is it. :)

This car is not for sale and is owned by Mr. Stanford. :)

I like the car, but the wheels and tires definetly would have to go. I consider this an upgrade "option"..:upthumbs

Looks Great Rick.

BTW... I'm in MI now, if this blasted SNOW and roads clear up, I'll bring the 07 down to see ya. It's in the garage in Auburn Hills now.

That's a great color for the C5. They should have made more.

I see why its rare, The color is horrible

I have seen one of them and in bright sunlight, they are actually very nice looking. My 87 is Gold Metallic and is a bit darker than Aztec Gold.

I think the Gold looks better with a black interior that the saddle or light gray that were the other color choices.

If what I heard is correct the problem was matching the paint color on all the parts to look the same. It became such a problem for some reason they aborted the color making it an instant collectable!

I like the color. I would prefer a darker shade, but I like it. Just my $0.02

That was the same problem that the plant had with the 94 Copper Metallic cars. Too bad that they couldn't get it right; both the Copper Metallic and the Aztec Gold colors look nice.
