If I have my facts right GM built 16 Aztec Gold Convertibles for the 98 model year and only one with a six speed tranny, this is it.
This car is not for sale and is owned by Mr. Stanford.

It's not the cars fault,Corvettes are living breathin' things with feelings.Oh ,welcome all you new members. :naughty:I see why its rare, The color is horrible
If what I heard is correct the problem was matching the paint color on all the parts to look the same. It became such a problem for some reason they aborted the color making it an instant collectable!I have seen one of them and in bright sunlight, they are actually very nice looking. My 87 is Gold Metallic and is a bit darker than Aztec Gold.
I think the Gold looks better with a black interior that the saddle or light gray that were the other color choices.
Bet it looks really good in the bright sun...like the LeManns Blue and the 50th Aniv. color does !I like the color. I would prefer a darker shade, but I like it. Just my $0.02
