Where can I find updates on ALMS GT-catagory results, such as qualifying today? ALMS site is nothing but video now, Racer site has older news, Autoweek has no updated infm'n. All I'm looking for is just a basic list, write-up is optional. I don't want to sweat through downloading megafiles for video or any other work, just a basic list of results so I can stay up on the Vette team progress.
Thanks.

So far as I have it, O'Connell qualified 3rd and Baretta Q'd 5th. Melo/Ferrari Q'd 1st, a BMW is between the Vettes.

Delicious Sandwich!

So Bergmeister is 4th between the 3rd and 5th Vettes, huh? Hoooah, this oughtta be interesting! :D

Thanks Zo6man, the Corvette Racing site doesn't get updated too often but I check 'em anyway. This should be a good one, just hope there ain't too many crashes.

Yeah Mike, know what you mean about the Corvette Racing site. Doesn't seem to see much action outside of the racing season. This year, they're running a cool video series after each race. I also spend a lot of time at the ALMS home site. In fact, the write-up on Long Beach is the same this time. I think this is where Shooter got the final running order.

Use either of the links below for a summary of CR's performance at LB.

Long Beach Results

Got it Zo6Man - I hit these sites pretty hard but it seems the reporting is slow other than video. Thanks.

Now, about SpeedChannel's coverage: in the last 5 minutes of the race, the Vette made the pass on the Bimmer for 2nd. Did we see that? Nooooo! :mad They went plotzin' around with commercials and an announcer yappin' about something in front of a stack of tires - while the green-flag race was on!! wtf's with that? Lots of P1 coverage, too little for GT2. I think they need to lose that Challenge class - what is that, field filler? What a waste watching a one-make class while the real action is in the normal classes! These races are minimal enough as it is - next race is the 22 of MAY?!! - but can Speed at least cover the roadcar class better so we can all watch the Vettes kickin' a$$!!
One more 1/2 hour and we would have watched the Vette take the Porsche for the win - no doubt! :beer ( as you can see, I like beer :rotfl )

You got that right! The yapping announcers spent very little time on the Vette class where I think there is more interest by the viewer. Too bad since the Vette moved up nicely to second. Heck of an improvement over the last race. On to a win next.

Yeah, definitely agree on the slanted coverage by the boys at SPEED. I've got most of the races for the past few seasons and nothing has really changed. Basically spotty coverage of anything outside of LMP. As it worked outs, I missed this race because I'm over in Scotland on business. I've posted some comments on their web page, but I'm only one person. Have to admit that CR's video series for this season is helping. And soon I expect a video summary on the ALMS page.
