Not the best season for C6R's, actually it was a disappointment with the exception of LeMans which was a significant victory. I'm wondering what Corvette can do to beat the BMW's next season. Seems the Beamers have a significant advantage is some way. I now weight and restrictors come in to play but, I really don't understand how they are applied or imposed. I'd sure like a win at Sebring in March.

New Year

Hey, 8 shooter, nice pix. I'm wondering if the rules, regulations and restrictions in the ALMS don't punish the Corvettes for their past success . The rules and regs are lengthy and not easy to understand. It seems BMW has to much of an advantage based solely on its car and capabilities. I want Corvette to return to is former dominance.

Maybe the people who set the rules do not.

Who'd a thunk it.....

Hib, you just might be right. Perhaps the ALMS thinks Corvette running away with the series is not good for the fan attendance. Of course, I think they are incorrect. Having Corvettes dominate and having the rest of the field fighting to beat them suits me just fine. It certainly did not hurt the series when Corvette was consistently winning.
