After 3 long years I finally got the car fired up, man I was sooooo exited about the whole idea of hearing how the BB and new side pipes would sound like, that I couldn't stop tweaking the car before I had everything ready. It was around midnight when everything was ready. On the first attempt, without any hesitation it woke up ( and I know it woke up the whole neighbourgh hood as well!!!) MAAAAAAAAN the sound is soooooo.... LOUD!!!! I love it to bits. We stopped tuning the car around 1:30am and the next morning the neighbourghs didn't look to happy when I went to pick up the morning paper!

Here's the video about the first try:

540hp/552tq BBC Corvette in action

Hope you like it!

That is soooooo AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Last year, I fired my car up for the very first time within days of Merlin doing the same. Now, one year later you fire yours up about the same time that TZracer lights off his super evil big block as well!

Nothing like big bad black monsters shaking the earth from opposite sides of the globe!!!!!!!

The must have been an earthquake or mudslide somewhere over the weekend!

SWEET...:Steer :BOW :_rock

That sounds sooooo good!

I am still down to my frame and still tearing down, hearing your Vette and seeing Bruiser is really making me anxious to finish mine.

When I look at my Vette's body on the dolley and the frame still needing a whole lot of work, sometimes it gets a little depressing knowing how much I have ahead of me. But then I see things like this video, and Bruiser driving up to Chris's house, gives me new hope that there is an awesome reward just around the corner.

Thanks for sharing this with us!

Sounds great, Jay! Man, I wish I was that far along on my car! Mine is only a small block, but I plan on throwing in some goodies to at least make it worth while! :beer

hey jay, did i notice an efi system on your bib block? If so who did you get it from and how did you like it?

Tom

Jay, do you have a gear drive in there??

DAmn, I have to fire mine up soon.. this is taking waaay too long (unfortunately one of my filmer drives got killed in shipping so I don't have a way to hook up my dry sump pump yet)
