VIN Check?

Hi everyone!
I just came across this board and it seems to be quite the place!
My question is, a long time ago, I did a VIN check on my other `91 Coupe for recalls and repairs. Someone told me of a website and I remember just typing in my VIN and it pulled up a listing of all the recalls and service that was done on the car. I even got the build sheet for the car there too.
My problem is, I can't remember the site. It was like a GM site and it was free, not CarFax.
I just got another `91 Coupe and want to make sure it's all up to date also.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

only one i have heard of that kind of like that is alldata.com but i don't think it gave you every thing done to your car. just gave the service bulteins and recalls.but yours sounds good! some times i am not sure i want to know everything my vette has gone through in it 20 years, well now after i have already gotten it.

Yes, this was perfect. I just wish I could remember the URL though. I know Chrysler has one too. I did a search on my GTX when I had it. I'm going to keep digging and when I find it, I will post it for all.
