I am looking for a corvette. Preferably 68-72, but a 73 or 74 will also do. it has to be stick, have AC, and no major body or frame damage. It does not have to run or be numbers matching.
Thanks

Thanks for letting me know your car. Your 74 is a bit out of my price range. I am only 17 so my funds are slightly limited. I have about 9,000 to spend, maybe a bit more if I can get my father to loan me some money.

Hey not a problem. I haven't been able to change the online ad yet, but I lowered the price to $16,500. So I just thought I'd throw that out there for you. If that's workable for you let me know. Otherwise good luck in the hunt.

I have a 74 for sale and $9000 is in line what I would take for it. Here are the details.

1974 White Corvette with Tan interior.
Excellent mechanical condition. Original matching numbers engine and transmission with only 79,000 miles
Options:

  • 4 speed transmission
  • AM/FM Stereo with cassette
  • Leather interior
  • Air conditioning (not working)
Recent Parts:

  • New exhaust
  • Rebuilt original radiator and support
  • New Goodyear Wingfoot Tires
Other notes:
Vehicle actual mileage is 79000. Have documented proof.

Wow, that's a nice car and a really good price. Wish I had room for a second one!

I've got a 73 that needs complete restro. Will need work on frame. FRAME ROT. Does start, run and drive NO BRAKES. Correct motor and tranny but, it is an automatic with PS, PB and air.
PM me and I'll send some pic's if interested.

CORV3TT3-
I sent you an e-mail about my `74 coupe right here in Scottsdale before Christmas, but never heard back from you. Did you receive the message and picture?? any interest ?
CQRT in AZ

Rick that sure is a nice looking car, but during the school year i just do not have the time to go look at a car that far away.

CQRT i did recieve the pictures and it looks nice, but my dad just bought a 74 and we are in the process of rebuilding the front suspension and building a 383 to put into it.

thanks for everyones help, but for now i have a project. though i am always on the look out for good deals, i probably won't be seriously looking for a car again until summer break.

Well, at least you've got something to lay hands on - - -enjoy and good luck! See you down at Pavillions for the car show!
