Wanted hood

Joe, is a stock 74 similar to your 75. i know mine has the cowl induction flap, but not sure about yours.
i have a hi-rise eckler's hood being painted now(not sure when it will be done). anyway i could possibly let it go.

let me know I think thier the same I'll check I'm pretty sure they are, how much you think you'll want for it? are there any cracks or bad spots? This caught me by surprize mine has a crack by the scoop part it's been repaired once my paint guys freaking out or I should say freaking me out He says it's shot .Boy thats gonna cut into the old budget. just when I thought I was seeing the light

Joe,according to the Eckler's catalog the hood is listed as 73-75 so i am assuming it fit those years. the hood is in good shape, no structural damage that i see. the previous owner made two notches in the back to clear the wiper arms. i guess he didn't know how to adjust the hood and wipers. it should be an easy fix.
i spoke to my paint-guy today he expects to put color on it this weekend(yeah, heard that before) ,i hope he'll be done in a week or two.
then if you want the hood, we'll have to figure out how to get it to you.it will have to be crated and shipped by truck. tomorrow i'll see who disney uses,we have specialty items crated by an outside firm.
we can work on the logistics ,if the deal goes thru.

Joe and Robin - How soon do you need to do this? I'm not that far from Robin, and I'm going through Louisiana on my way to visit my parents in Colorado. I'll be in my dually pulling my 5th wheel, so I'll have plenty of room. This would be in early July, and I'll be on I-20 at that point.

Hello all, once i get my new hood back i was originally planning to just hang it from the ceiling. so time isn't an issue to me.
i am sure i can work something out with Mike to get the hood to him. besides i have a good reason to visit him. Boats with no windows!!

joe .i'll take some pic this weekend. they are along the back up/down edge. appx 1 inch wide and 1/4 inch high. and match the pivot point where the wipe arm meet.
i guess the arms hit the hood when coming up. so instead of adjusting the hood height(which i did) the owner just relieved the hood. i don't see any structural problems with it. looks like an easy glass fix.

joe, PM me with your email address and see what we can work out
