I was very careful & used foamy tire cleaner & light rinse w/ water. Compressed air dry & a little hose & aluminum dressing.

Runs like a sob.

Other side. Actually these are b4 the aluminum & hose work.Sorry my camera sucks, it's one of those free intel ones, can't beat the price though.

Lookin' good! I guess you were really careful around the opti-spark, eh? :L

Hi Ken,

Oh yessir, I was careful. But really I did squirt some foamy & water & air down around & under the water pump. It was greasy there. There is a pcv vent/hose on the pass front of the lt4 & mine had lost it's seal & was probably blowing/leaking some oily stuff out into the engine area. I replaced it today (for about $10. - gotta love those chevy part prices - I can only imagine what it goes for on a 911!)

I do have a 1996 which is supposed to have a better opti (vented or something?).

I'm going to an autox at the stadium in San Diego tomorrow am & didn't want my ride looking shabby. In or out.

I've always washed my engine. The only car that didn't like it much was a 1961 MGA. Lucas electrics ya know.

See ya!

Do you ever get down to San Diego? Plastic Fantastic - Seaport Village. Autox at the stadium? I went to the Huntington Beach Concours a couple of months ago, that's up your way?
