My car was dirty and I gave it a good washing last night. Had to take some new pictures.
Here is a side shot

Looks awesome! :upthumbs

I had a BB 402 (396 + .030) with a 6:71 dyers and a pair of 750 carter double-p's on top. The two 110 gph electric fuel pumps keep the arabs in business in the early 80's. Car and blower are gone... but what SWEET memories; especially the cops always pulling me over. :L

Groovy!

I know in the picture it looks orange but it is viper red. This is a shot taken in the shade. As for gas mileage I get 15 mpg doing mixed driving. The visibility is suprisingly good. Driving down the road you can see all of the shoulder on the passengers side except about the first 20 feet. Remember the motor sits off to the right on all cars and the cars are not that big.
This is taken in the shade

big dif. between sun and shade colors - Is tha due to your digital camera settings?

Could very well be. I leave the camera on automatic settings.
I do drive the car alot, well one tankful a week or about 2000 miles a summer.
The blower is not that hard to see around and the passenger's shoulder of the road is visible from about 20 feet on out. By the time a car merging from the side dissapears behind the carbs the back end is already out the other side.
Any car sitting at a stop to my right I watch the tires, not the car but the tires to see if he really is stopping. As soon as the front tire disappears the back is already visible so I just shift my line of site to the other tire.
Anyone walking across infront of the car is certainly visible over the blower.
So far the cops leave me alone, I don't cause trouble, yes I certain do speed alot on the expressways but not in town and certainly not off the lights.
