Question: wat is the best engine for a daily use 1982 c3?

Hi.
I got a 82 c3 vette but the problem is the original engine can't preform well cuz of the all year heat and high humidity in UAE. I'm looking arround for a good engine that can give a good power and resist the climate?any suggestions?

2nd,it shouldn't matter because of high heat and humidity,we have the same thing here in the south...
perhaps your problem is just an adjustment of the cross fire injection.....there is a separate area in the forums for it .
