:ugh Hope to not wake a problem child... Looking for help in locating water leak at passenger side interior. Seems to be in the lower windshield area as it comes out from behind the dash area.:cry (Pics are best story)
Any help is appreciated :w

Can you spell H-E-A-T-E-R C-O-R-E, it's behind and just below the glove box, inside the car.............does it smell like antifreeze??

Same thought here.. See if you can circumvent the core for now and see if that stops the leaks..

It should be easy to determine if it's from the heater or from external water, as rain or carwash. If it's from outside the problem is most likely between the windowframe and bulkhead. They are connected with a combination of rivets and glue, and the water will appear behind the dash. God luck...

It is outside water, only is when rain or washing... something rings a bell about a deflector or trough to channel the water away, I just cant locate it...;help hope someone has a picture of the, if any such thing...
:v Thanks, Kev.

I had a similar problem. My carpet was getting soaked on the passenger side floor board only. No sign of wetness at all on the sides or the front running down. What I found was really sneaky and I'll try to describe it as best I can...

I removed the kick panel and ran a slow stream of water down the windshield, letting it run down the cowl to see if the water made it's way to the weep hole. What I saw was water "bleeding" through an area of fiberglass between the large oval vent opening and the square opening where the weep hole is located (also a great space for speakers...I installed Infinity speakers there, 4x6 square plate footprint) . It made a small but thick stream of water that snaked down the side and puddled on the floor never even getting the side of the carpet wet. I "patched" it with some silicone sealer and it seems to work (for now).

Hope this helps a bit.

Try this...

I had a similar issue even after a complete weatherstrip change out. Check the link below. My fillers were completely rotted and gone to the point that I didn't even know something was supposed to sit there.

I don't work for ecklers or anything, but they had a graphic of what I was trying to show so that is why I linked to them.

Ultimately this with some liberal use of Weatherstrip adhesive around it stopped my leak.

Thanks for the tip/s. As soon as it stops raining, hehe ;), I'll check those spots.

Thanks
