I have a couple of tips that may prove useful. Ever since I have owned the car I have had water leaks near the front of the side windows. Bending the tabs on the top did not help. Two months ago I put dielectric grease on the weather stripping. I haven’t had a drop on water come in the car since. Even during bad storms, dry as a bone.
I have also had problems with the driver side wiper going over the side molding. I saw the article about removing the cover over the wiper moter and adjusting the arm. When I opened up the cover I discovered that it was adjusted as far over as it could go. Then I decided to try to loosen the three screws that hold the wiper arm in place to see if that would help. It did. It will give you about another inch or two at the top of the wiper to play with.
So now the car is dry inside and my wiper works great. I hope this helps someone.
