Curious to find out if my 85 has positraction not. Has manual 4+3 Nash and when I jump on it in first there is no fish tail, just slamming forward unlike my 95 CE Auto which does try to fishtail but the ARS stops it.

Jack up the rear of the vehicle so both rear wheels are in the air, making sure that the front tires are blocked so that the vehicle will not roll. Put the transmission in neutral with the park brake off and rotate one of the rear wheels. If both rear wheels rotate in the same direction, it has positraction. If one wheel rotates one direction and the other rotates in the opposite direction then it is an open differential.

Thanx for the info will do it this weekend

I've never heard of a C4 without a limited slip.

The reason your 95 "fishtails" and your 85 does not is probably because the 95 can spin the tires whereas the 85, may not be able to.
