My 04 coupe came with a glass top. I bought a used composite top that had to be painted. It was in mint shape. After I got it back from the painter I noticed wind noise from the top, on the driver side door ,at speeds above 40 mph. I tried the glass top and no noise. Only noise with the composite top on the drivers side. I can not feel any wind but I can alter the noise slightly by pushing on the interior weather stripping near the top of the side glass (nearest the windshield). I just hear air noise. It is something I must get corrected. I have taken the top off and made sure that the entire weather stripping on the composite top is inside the channel on the right side of the top. The weather stripping can be easily moved around on the driver's side of the composite roof but still remains inside the channel of the top. You can pull it out easily. Is that rubber weather stripping supposed to be cemented in with rubber cement ? Any suggestions. I will take it back to the body shop that did the work but I would like to have some ideas before I do so.Thanks for any suggestions.:w

Consult the '04 Manual for the roof adjustment procedure......I guess all aren't exactly the same.....
