I am getting ready to do the weatherstrip replacement deal on my car and need to how do I know if I should get the 1977E kit or the 1977L-1982 kit? My car was manufactured in 02/77 and has both the flags and alarm key on the fender. I understand there is supposedly a difference in the T-Top weatherstrips and the door post weatherstrips, but what that difference is I don't know. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Well, after doing a little research on Eckler's website I found out what the difference is. Early 1977 has 19 push pin retainers and no metal reinforcement inside the rubber over the side window. Late 1977 has 18 pin retainers and metal reinforcement inside the rubber over the side window. Upon further inspection of my T-Top panel which I already removed the old weatherstrip from it turns out that I need the kit for 73-77E.
