UV Rays are detrimental to our W.S. as we all know. Question:Are indirect sunlight UV Rays bad for it or does it have to be in Direct Sunlight to be harmful?

NOT SURE, BUT MAYBE YOU COULD KEEP IT COVERED WHEN PARKED :cool:w

Direct UV dose will be the most harmful but indirect can obviously contribute to damage over time. Sweat the direct, not the indirect. Keep the exposed part of the gaskets a slicked up. That will reflect UV quite well. I've always wiped on Silicone spray (yes, the lube stuff) about every other week during the summer and my gaskets last a very long time.

Go to your local plumbing supply shop or hardware store and buy a big tube of Pool & Spa Lube. Works great and it'll keep your WS nice and supple for years!
