weatherstripping

I have a small cut in my weatherstripping, passenger side near the top at the windshield, approximately two inches long. It is right where the window comes up at the top. 1994 dark red metallic coupe. Can anyone offer any suggestions as to how to repair this, short of putting in new weatherstripping?

I would replace the weatherstripping. It will only get worse if you try to patch it.

As a temporary measure you can use some black RTV to keep it together until you replace the strip. Just open up the crack, put in the RTV, close it up & scrap off the excess. It will hold for a while.

As radar stated " it don't get any better".
