I went to VIR last weekend with the Richmond Porsche club. It is amazing to me that people have so much money. So many of the people there bought a very expensive car, and all they do is trailer it and race it. There where countless GT3, and they were used for racing. Seats taken out and race seats and roll cages put in. There was one couple there that had a brand new Audi R8 V10 and a brand new, still with dealer tags, Porsche GT3. OMG the Audi was amazing. I took a few pics, and will try and post a little later.

I was only able to run the LT4 during lunch, and only 3 laps; but OMG did I have fun. I can see how racing at VIR can be so addicitve. I also had the LT4 dyno'd. It pulled 283.2 hp and had 342.8 ft/lbs torque. Not as much HP as I had hoped, but nothing to sneeze at either.

With a 20% driveline loss that is 340HP at the crank. Better than GM said it was. I assume your posted HP is Rear Wheel HP.

Yeah, that was rear wheel HP.
