What can i expect ????

hey, wanted a vette for a long time and finally broke down and just got one. its a 92 C-4 auto. with 124K miles. I bought the car cuzz it looked like it was kept up. I had it checked out at a vette garage, the report read the car needed temp sensor,front brakes ,front shocks which were my main concern. other things were the left side bose amp,driver seat track and steering column adjust was worn out" but if Im gentle it stays in place. The cars very clean in/out, like new tires and chrome wheels, that's it. Question is what longevity can I expect from the is vehicle, or how long are they known to go with normal maint. ?? BTW besides changing oil what other maint. is needed? thanx

I like to change all fluids when buying a used car, so I know exactly where it stands, plus it gives me a look at what sort of treatment and maintenance it had. Surely, your checkout included the serpentine belt.

It seems most all cars need engine accessories in that mileage range or earlier; alternator, water pump, some suspension and driveline things, maybe.

thanx for the reply, I forgot too mention the previous owner had the optispark/water pump repaired also I forget the name but some kind of main computer, and being a vette shop it was at I would assume they looked at the belt and other things under the hood, I stood right their and watched.
