I've been offered to buy a nice looking 67 vette locally for extremely cheap in my opinion. I've already made a post on here about the engine code but after looking at all the fraud that may be out there, I was hoping you experts could take a look at the available pictures. Maybe give me some insight on what to ask or look for if I go to look at this car.
The price is too good to be true so I'm taking this all with a grain of salt.
On the other hand, sometimes people get lucky, though I wouldnt count on it.
Here is the link with the pictures.

After some research, I discovered this was another scam. Thank goodness for google.
Under a mutlitude of items(cars/trucks/other) and names. A person claims her (inser family member) died 4 months ago. She is often injured and she seems to always be out of town in santa monica. The location of the vehicle varies but ive seen detroit and vancouver. She wants you to put a deposit down via -
Craigslist Vehicle Purchase Protection Program.

I assume she bails on the deposit and you just get stuck. Her name for me was.
Cynthia Swain
aka
Bella Maloney
Debra Wadden
Lucena Kriger
Leanne Dyson
Rose Hanlon
Hellen Barkley

Just thought I'd inform, in case you come across one of these.

Thanks for the heads up. :thumb

Just proves the old adage, "If it looks too good to be true, it usually is".

I was going to post that photobucket link, too, having today, had minimal contact with the ailing Cynthia Swain, in Santa Monica, for treatment, after being injured in the 'accident' that killed her hubby, four months ago. The 'car' is in/near Detroit... Ha Ha.

'She' offered to use craigslist Protection Plan, and a link to it. A short search showed CL to not have anything to do with transaction; any 'plan' was a scam.

So I am ready to go to authorities, as listed in CL help section.:w
