I just bought a 1998 C5 from a salesman at a new car dealer who said he also has a 1960 he took in for $ 5,000. It is running bur he states moves all over the road. What is a decent offer ?
that is all I know. He did say he thought it could be worth $ 15 K but he felt likely would need $ 15 K in parts. Lets hear your thoughts

Dave some one who has not ever driven a clasical car may think its all over the road. when its actually just a typical ride in an old corvette with bias tires on it.

go take a look and take some pictures post them here,I have not even seen a basket case go at 15,000.00 in years

Approximate Values

Dave,

I took a look at Corvette Magazine's recent market report (March 2003) for 1960 Corvettes and here's the break down:

.......................Heap.......OK.........Nice......Real Nice
283ci/230hp $18,000 $25,000 $34,000 $39,500
283ci/290hp $25,000 $30,300 $43,000 $54,800
