I have a 2000 Monte Carlo SS with 129,000 miles on it with the original front and rear brake pads and rotors. There are some long highway miles, but there are also plenty of stop 'n go miles from town and city driving. Guess its a matter of your driving style and highway miles vs city miles.
HI there,
I have one customer who has 34,000 on his 07 Z and he still has about 3 mm left on the front brake pad thickness.
This is about 20% of the pads left.
The rears are still about 50%.
Calipers, no problems that I have seen at ALL!!!
Allthebest, c4c5
I have 24,550 miles on mine and the calipers are a little dusty but show virtually zero wear. I'd never expect them to since they don't touch anything. The rotors on the other hand, should last at least 125,000 miles, but it depends on your driving style that you stated.
18,000 miles on my '07 Z06, with original pads still on the vehicle. Normal driving, but I do autocross it from time to time. Basically it depends on your driving style, as stated before.
