What is the pop, pop sound while driving

85' 4+3, while driving will hear a Pop Pop from the engine, I know it's cutting out but can't id what is causing it, Plugs - Wires - Distributor ? Or just replace all 3 ?

"Pop Pop" isn't a very good description. Bad wheel bearings or U-joints will also cause a Pop Pop sound. Does the sound continue when the car is moving, with the trans in neutral, and the engine shut off?

ok how about "cutting out" or "missing". I know its not bearings or u joints. It's coming from the engine while driving the car.

Found the issue finally, 1 plug wire had managed to hang on the exhaust header and get burned somewhat. Replaced all wires and all is better
