Sounds like you have what I need. I will not be able to register this car until I get this done. That's my weak attempt at a guilt trip :)

Seriously if someone has the front section of this exhaust I'm in desprate need.

Do you have anual inspections?? Or is this a one time deal??

I agree w/ Callaway4Fun, the new Callaway exhaust is wonderful and sounds TOUGH!

Something worth considering - if you have never heard Megaphones before - they are BBBBbaaaddd :cool

The new Megaphone exhaust is 2.75 inch all the way to the 2.75 McArdle Megaphones That is what I requested when having the system designed with HIGH flow cats.Just ask Luigi what he thinks or anyone who has heard the McArdle Megaphones.

I have both of the complete front exhaust systems. I performed the recall myself. After driving the car, the power loss was noticable, so I kept the orrigional set up. I will probably build a custom 3 inch and use a megaphone tip. I do not need converters as it is not a checked item in this part of Texas. The problem I see with the factory megaphone is the inlet size is only about 2 1/4 inches. I still have the orrigional ones from my 87. I will probably make something a little bigger. I also thought about using a B&B 3 inch set up from a ZR1 and modifying the front to fit the turbo's. Any thought on that?

What was the price for your exhaust system? I looked into having a custom built SS 2.5" from the turbo back using bullit style cats for $1600.

LOL I used those pictures today to get my quote :)

We did kinda get off topic from the sledgehammer, but who cares here?
What is the nipple on the right side for? It looks like an 02 sensor fitting? but is capped. Is this just in case for dyno tuning or....?

Paul, it was easier now, to modify the title vs. change the threads direction back to topic ;)

re: the bung in the exhaust - it can be used to test backpressure of the exhaust prior to the cat(s) and as you mentioned, dyno tuning, for the installation of a wideband sensor :cool

Enjoy :m

Yes that is what it is for.
