I have a 84 months GM Major Guard warranty on my ’03 Z06. However, I am still thinking to add a supercharger. I understand this will void the warranty on the motor. If most of your repairs were not motor related then I am not losing too much from the factory and extended warranty, right? What repairs besides body panels did you have so far?

That seems like a big sacrifice to add a superecharger. Any work on the engine could be expensive. I am having engine work done on mine. I had a cold start knock and it requires new pistons to fix the problem. If it wasn't under warranty I bet it would be expensive.

wait a couple of years until you know that any problem have been fixed and your are out of warranty then go NUTS!

the cold start engine knock was only a problem in the customers mind per gm. did gm suggest the piston change or did you if it was gm it must have been really bad.most of what i've read about the rebuilds turned out really bad
i too had cold engine knock on my 01 auto but chose to leave it alone it went away 1 min after start
ran well till traded on 03
