Yes.. Western Wheels. I have same on my '74. Nice car!! She will be a beauty.

74BB are yours painted or natural finish?

robin

Yes, they are aftermarket made by Western Wheel. I know because I bought a set new in 1975 for a 1974 Corvette I had at the time. One thing I did back then which made many people think they were factory wheels was to peel the Western decals off and replace them with Corvette crossed-flag decals. Those wheels were all the rage in the mid 70s. :cool

I had a set of those Western Wheels on my 76 Chevette.... (I use to pretend I would own a vette one day...)

They are American Racing Mags from the early 80's. I have a mint condition set on my '81. I personal;ly hate them as I've had to grind the ends off my calipers to get them to fit. But they do easily fit the 255-60X15 optional tires.

American made similar wheels that looked like the Western Mags. It's just like American and Western made their version of the Cragar SS....

Western vs. American

Why don't you look on the back side of one wheel? American always casts their name into their wheels. I can't remember if Western did that but at least you would know if you could eliminate American Racing from the equation.
Let us know what you find out.:_rock :_rock :_rock :_rock

aftermarket, sorta resemble oem knockoffs, cost much less, which accounts for popularity at the time.
