What should I do with my 2000 painted wheels?

I have a nice set of wheels from my 2000 coupe that I replaced with chrome after market wheels. Right now these old wheels are being stored in the attic and I want to get rid of them I think. There is a bit of really minor curb rash that 2 of the wheels have. Should I strip them of the paint, polish them and then have them clear coated or have them repainted to cover the curb rash. The rash is a total of about 3 inches and could be easily covered with a thick coat of paint. I've thought of keeping them for a second set of tires, but I never go to the track. What should I do with these and if you recommend on selling them, should I fix them and then sell them or just sell them as is. What should I ask for them?

The thin spokes are a pretty popular item. You should be able to find someone interested in them. I just bought a used set and they are a huge improvement over the wagon wheels. Sell them as is.

Would you mind telling me how much you paid for them and what kind of condition they are in so I can get an idea of how much I might get out of them? Thanks - Ron
