What SIZE wheel fits?????

Can someone tell me what size wheel will fit under my stock 63. I'd like to use a 17" but don't know how wide or what backspacing to use.
I'm sure some of you have to be using aftermarket wheels on your C2.

Do you have stock or offset trailing arms?

8" with offset trail arms 4" backspace rear and 4 1/2" backspace front

best to check with installer and measure as there are differences between cars.

I have standard trailing arms. 4" max backspacing will be a problem. I want to use 17x7's but few have a 4" backspacing. Thanks

You can buy custom size wheels from American Racing such as Torque Thrust D s but you will wait 6 weeks to get them. If you don't mind the expense they are excellent.
