Help! what to do on my 1980 l82

Hi Guys I'm at a crossroads on what to do on my L82. As we all know, 1980 was not a good year for horsepower so I' thinking about alum. heads,headers and true dual pipes or trade up to a 1985 or later ( I like the style of the C3 better) I know a cam would help with the upgrades but I was told the motor would have to be pulled to get the cam changed. The car only has 37k so I think I'm safe to go ahead with mods. Thanks for listing. MelroseMike

The items you mentioned will help with power increase, especially if they are properly selected. Instead of a cam change you might consider roller rocker arms and/or 1.6 rockers which would give a slight increase in valve lift.
